Bangkok Phallic Shrines

Bangkok’s Phallic Shrine (also known as Tubtim or Tuptim Shrine) is uniquely adorned with hundreds of phalluses ranging from small wood carvings to 10-foot-tall stone sculptures decorated with ribbons. They are also believed to have a mystical influence on companies’ cash flow. So don’t be surprised if you see one sitting discreetly next to a cash register or dangling from a taxi’s rear-view mirror.
