History of the Bay Regatta
The 23rd Bay Regatta started its journey in 1998. ACYC (Ao Chalong Yacht Club) organized the Regatta for the first time. Back then, it was known as Phang Nga Bay Regatta. Traditionally, this Regatta took place around the (Chinese) New Year from January to February. However, the timing is now varying to allow more sailors to participate in the Regatta.
