Benjasiri Park is a refreshing garden that stretches along Sukhumvit Road in the Khlong Toei district of Bangkok. Also known as Benchasiri Park, it features a skateboarding area, swimming pool, outdoor gym and jogging track. Built around a stunning ornamental lake, it features 12 brilliant examples of contemporary sculpture handcrafted by some phenomenally talented Thai artists. Benjasiri Park has been known as Queen’s Park ever since. Built on 11.6 acres of land and conveniently located near the Emporium shopping complex, with trees on the Benchasiri Park campus and well-sheltered footpaths that keep it busy even in the hot sun. People come here to shelter from the sweltering heat outside, read a book, throw food at the pigeons or enjoy the sound of the howling wind. Benjasiri Park has plain and simple architecture, with the entrance adorned with a vast golden effigy of Queen Sirikit.

Activities at Benchasiri Park
Dhamma ni suan:
It is a form of confession for people who have difficulty attending a temple. The activity takes place every Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and invites Buddhists to listen to the sermon and make merits.
Donet ni suan:
Every Saturday and Sunday, people can listen to different pieces of Thai and international music in the park to relax and unwind. It is one of the most exciting activities of the party.
Best time to visit:
Because the park is relatively compact, well-kept, and clean, it gets packed throughout the day. During the day, mothers play with their children around the swings or the slides, or the supervisors roam freely. Afternoons are the park’s golden hours when the entire campus comes alive. The temperature remains more relaxed, and residents enter the park to exercise, relax, and participate in activities such as jogging, aerobics, basketball games, etc.
How to reach:
Benjasiri Park is located between the Emporium department store and the five-star Marriott hotel chain. The exact location is Sukhumvit Road, Phrom Phong, Bangkok. It is relatively easy to find as it is strategically located at the foot of Phrom Phong. The station and the large image of Queen Sirikit draw attention. The location is so commercial; honestly, getting to Benchasiri Park is a breeze. One can easily catch the BTS Skytrain in Phrom Phong; the park is opposite Phrom Phong Station, somewhere between Soi 22 and Soi 24.
Tips for visitors:
You can avoid carrying a lot of food and a bottle of water when you’re ready to eat out, as there are several cafes at either end of the park that serves commuters and regular visitors daily.
