Kamala Beach, north of Patong, is popular with families and retirees enjoying a pleasant vacation in this quieter bay. The beach is home to several cafes, bars, Thai restaurants, and shops selling Thai jewelry. One of the main attractions is the Phuket Fantasea Show, which features dancers and elephants performing in a beachfront theme park. Surrounded by forested hills, this fishing village is considered one of Phuket’s most beautiful and peaceful spots.

How to reach?
Songthaews
The best way to get to Kamala Beach is by public transport, especially the blue Songthaews. They usually operate on the Phuket to Surin and Kamala routes. A songthaew from Phuket Town costs about 40 THB. Runs north of the airport or south of Patong. Connection transportation can only be done from Phuket.
Smart Bus
If you’re going from beach to beach along the west coast, you can take the Smart Bus, which usually costs between THB 50 and THB 170. If you are coming directly from the airport, you should take the Smart Bus, which costs around 170 THB, or a taxi, which costs about 750 THB. There are bus stops near the Big C supermarket, which is very close to the city center.
