Karon Viewpoint is one of the most visited viewpoints in Phuket. Located between the beaches of Nai Harn and Kata Noi, it is busy most days of the year and a popular stop on many tourist routes. You can enjoy the view of Kata Noi, Kata Yai, and Karon Beaches.
Karon Viewpoint is located south of Kata Noi Beach. It directly overlooks the Andaman Sea, although most people’s cameras face north for the stunning 8km view of Phuket’s west coast.
Highlights of Karon Viewpoint
The north view from Karon Viewpoint is one of the most photographed images of Phuket. This iconic sight highlights the best of the island: a sparkling blue sea, snow-white waves, white sandy beaches, a nearby exotic island (Koh Pu), and the deep green hues of Phuket’s hills.
Good to know about Karon Viewpoint
There is plenty of parking at Karon Viewpoint, although many people park on the side of the road when the area is too crowded. The viewpoint is about 10 minute drive from Kata Beach and another 10 minutes from Nai Harn Beach.
