The water is naturally heated with the help of the underlying volcanic rock and reaches a temperature of 35 to 40 degrees Celsius. Photographers should bring a good camera to take underwater photos. If you want to swim in the pool, you should bring your bathing suit. It is not recommended to leave expensive items by the pool while bathing, as theft has occurred in this place. Previous tourists are advised to apply sunscreen liberally to their faces to avoid sunburn. Carrying mosquito repellent can help prevent insect bites in the jungle.

Eating inside is not allowed, but there are some local food stalls near the entrance. Visitors should watch out for slippery edges and enter the pool with caution. The forest is a “no hunting zone.”

Emerald Pool in Krabi

The Emerald Pool in Krabi is a true natural wonder, making it one of the best tours from Krabi. Even the walk to the Emerald Pool is attractive and a truly natural experience. A very well-marked hiking trail leads about 1.4 kilometers into the jungle. You walk between crystal clear streams, small yellow ponds, and various tropical plants and trees.

How To Reach Krabi Emerald Pool 

Krabi’s Emerald Pool is part of Thung Teao Forest Natural Park, located in the Khao Pra-Bang Khram area next to Bang Tao village. It is an hour’s drive from Krabi Province, known as Ao Nang. No public transport runs through this area, and tourists are advised to rent a car or motorbike to reach the forested area and pool.
