Railay Beach in Krabi is located on the Railay Peninsula of the same name and is undoubtedly one of the most spectacular spots in Thailand. This paradise is particularly famous for its imposing limestone cliffs, which combine with the turquoise sea, towering palm trees and powdered sugar-white sandy beaches to create a picture-postcard backdrop. Special activities and breathtakingly beautiful attractions await you when you visit Railay Beach. Swimming at the most beautiful beaches in Thailand is just some of the best things to do.
Although the peninsula is no longer a secret, Railay Beach is legendary, and a visit is a must on any trip to Krabi.

Relax on Railay beach:
Although there are many things to do in Railay, many people come here to relax on the beautiful beaches. In Railay, going to the beach is an activity. Railay West offers an ultra-picturesque sandy beach where you can kick back and relax all day.
Adventurous rock climbing:
Railay is a premier rock-climbing destination in Thailand. The large cliffs are surrounding Railay offer climbing routes for all skill levels. Some rock faces around Railay are even suitable for beginners who dare their first attempts at climbing. Many people Back down when they realise this is more of a climb than a hike. If you walk up to the Railay lookout, wear appropriate shoes instead of flip-flops.
Search for monkeys in Railay:
It would help if you didn’t have to go far to find monkeys in Railay. Walking far around the peninsula, you see a group of these mischievous monkeys. You caught all over Railay. They are social animals, often travelling in groups of 5 to 20 individuals and swinging from tree branches. These primates are often seen on the trail between Railay East and Phra Nang Beach. We also saw a group of dusky leaf monkeys living in the trees at Sand Sea Resort, around the lagoon, and in Ton Sai. Walk around Railay far enough, and you’ll start dating some of Railay’s Many monkeys.
Getting a massage in Railay:
Getting a massage can be an essential activity on any trip to Thailand. And Railay has some excellent massage options. It will help you relax or soothe sore muscles after a day of rock climbing or paddling. Sit back and enjoy!
Hike, Boat, or Paddle to Ton Sai Beach
Ton Sai is another beautiful beach in Railay and the northernmost of the three beaches in Railay. Ton Sai has another lovely sandy beach surrounded by cliffs. Ton Sai Beach tends to have fewer visitors than the other two beaches and is still quite beautiful. The cliffs around Ton Sai offer even more climbing opportunities, and there are more climbing outfitters here. There are also some beach bars to relax. Ton Sai has an even more low-key, rustic, and relaxed atmosphere than the rest of Railay. Although there is a resort on this beach, it is packed with budget backpacker accommodation.
