Windmill Viewpoint is located between Ya Nui and Nai Harn Beaches in southern Phuket. Not far from Phromthep Cape are several tall, narrow white windmills belonging to Promthep Alternative Power Station. This hilltop vantage point offers similar West Coast views to Phromthep but is generally quieter. There’s little in this relatively small pavilion beside a covered space with a seating area and the occasional vendor selling drinks or jewelry. Nai Harn beach to the north and an oblong shaped and lush green island called Koh Man are almost opposite.
Windmill Lookout is located on an island near Promthep Cape and offers stunning views of Ya Nui and Nai Harn Beaches and a tiny island, Koh Man, to the right of Promthep Cape. It’s a relatively small place with a “sala” (roof/pavilion with no walls), seating, and the occasional fruit juices or jewelry vendor. In addition to the view of the islands and beaches, one can watch the passing ship traffic and fantastic sunset views. The Windmill Viewpoint offers a beautiful view of the clear Thai skies scattered across Yai Nui Beach. With its tall white Windmill in the background, many tourists seek out this spot on Nai Harn Beach for the perfect photo.
